Photography for everyone - a basic class

Photography for everyone - a basic class

Beginning Tuesday, January 17th I will be hosting another public photography class at Immanuel Baptist Church in Corbin, Ky. Who is this class for you ask? If you nod your head or exclaim 'yes!' to at least two of the below, you should join us.

You have a good eye but you are wrestling with your digital camera.

You have good gear, but an eye that needs some training.

Your kids and pets deserve better pictures than what you are currently giving them.

All the buttons on the back of your camera remain a mystery to you.

You are regularly asking 'how did you take that photo?'

You know someone who could take great photos if they just had some basic knowledge.

Your photos look great on camera, but you are unsure what to do with them on the computer.

You want to spend more quality time with your favorite photographer.

Your New Year's resolution is to take better pictures.

Enter 'Photography for everyone - taking better photos of the things you love.' A five- week class that will meet once a week for about an hour and a half. The class takes place at Immanuel Baptist Church, but will go on location and to the studio for hands-on experience. The class will cover:

basics on photography (shutter-speed, ISO, aperture, white balance)
mechanics of your own camera
image processing, sharing, printing and archiving
hands-on exercises on location and in-studio with live models
photo critiques, tips, and equipment recommendations

This class is for everyone but limited to the first 20 participants at a cost of $75.00.
